Stories about the People-Pet Energetic Connection
Through my years of talking with animals and people, I’ve noticed that animals do reflect how people are feeling. Just as animals know about health issues and natural disasters, animals “know” what’s going on energetically—emotionally and physically—with the people in their lives. And through their behavior and health, our pets are telling us what they know.
These stories demonstrate the amazing energetic connection between animals and people.
John & Mitzi
John contacts me because after years of good behavior, his sweet Yorkshire Terrier, Mitzi, starts piddling outside his office door. John often sees clients in his in-home office. Now, almost every time John has a client over, Mitzi leaves a puddle outside the door. The situation is causing John a great deal of embarrassment.
During our session, John quickly realizes that he is overworked and needs to take more “play” breaks with Mitzi throughout the day to relax and unwind. As soon as John gives himself much-needed “playtime,” the indoor piddling stops. And, when John forgets and pushes himself too hard, his yorkie faithfully “reminds” John to ease up on himself.
“Heeere, Kitty Kitty”
I find that cats who bite their keepers is a common occurrence. During an animal communication session, clients experiencing this situation often discover areas of their own lives where they are angry or fearful—at themselves or others.
Clients aren’t aware of the harmful effects of their pent up emotions. But their kitty is! Once a client releases the stuck feelings, the cat stops biting the keeper.
“Oh, nooo, Wishbone!”
Wishbone is a sweet bull terrier who adores people. Unfortunately, this wiggling ball of fur pees uncontrollably when he interacts with people, including his caretaker, Ann. After the vet rules out physical issues, Ann contacts me.
As Ann and I talk, I discover that Ann is full of contradictions. She’s struggling to deal with challenges in her life. In one breath she tells me how great her life is. In the next, she tells me how angry she is about a number of issues. Then she says she’s not angry.
It’s obvious to me that Wishbone’s actions are telling Ann that she’s sending out mixed messages. He’s showing Ann through his own contradictory actions: urinating on the people he’s excited to be around.
After Ann decides to deal more with her anger, she notices that Wishbone doesn’t pee as much when he gets excited around people.
Getting Personal: Bumper Leads the Way
After realizing what gifts pets bring us by revealing what’s going on at the energetic level inside their companions, I gathered the courage to do a life review of my pets. I compared the health and behavior of my pets with what was going on in my life at that time. I found my pets were always showing me what was going on energetically inside of me. And Bumper was right on!
“Out of the blue” after 15 years of marriage, my husband asked for a divorce to marry another woman. I’m shocked and devastated by the betrayal. Not only that, I’m paralyzed with fear about being alone and on my own—at 40—for the first time in my life.
A week after the news, my lab, Bumper, has a stroke that leaves her back legs paralyzed. During the life review, I saw that Bumper demonstrated physically how I felt energetically: crippled, cut in half, unable to move forward in life. She showed me that I’m stuck. While helping Bumper regain the ability to walk I begin to heal and make a fresh start! - Sulana
